Lymphatic Drainage

Celluderm Technology (FDA Approved), Incorporates a holistic approach to esthetic and treatments by balancing the circulation networks essential to the health and well-being of the body. Celluderm Technology is a non-invasive natural drainage apparatus designed to stimulate and improve lymphatic drainage.   The combination of heat and vacuum suction activates the lymphatic system and drains excess fluid and harmful toxins from the body. These treatments help to move stored fat cells out of the body such as  Cellulite and promote Fat Reduction for both women and men. It also is a full body detox helping move the blood throughout the adipose tissue and reduce inflammation. A 24-hour Fat-Free Diet followed after the treatment will allow the body to utilize the fat for normal metabolic functions.

What is Celluderm?

  • Treatments are to decrease the size of fat cells and to enhance the lymphatic system by retexturing and smoothing connective tissues subcutaneously.  Celluderm treatments progressively wear down congestion by using an innovative trio system. The treatment uses heat, vacuum suction, and a 24-hour fat-free diet, this trio system produces impressive results.

How Does Celluderm Work?

  • As mentioned on the home page, Its a 'Trio System of heat, vacuum suction and, 24-hour fat-free diet.

  • Applying heat causes lipolysis in the adipose tissues by altering the permeability of fat cell membranes allowing stored fat to be released.

  • When suction is applied, fat molecules, in the form of triglycerides, are pulled across the cell membrane and released into the lymph fluid and taken to the nearest lymph node. This reduces the size of the fat cells.

  • Once thought, the lymph node, the fat-laden lymph travels to the thoracic cavity. It is then transferred to the bloodstream and taken to the liver.

  • The liver breaks down the fat molecules into free fatty acids and glycerol.

  • Glycerol is further broken down into water and carbon dioxide.

  • The free fatty acids are absorbed back into the body to be utilized as energy.

  • It is essential to remain fat-free for 24 hours following the treatment so the liver can process and metabolize the fatty acids freed from the fat cells.

  • Otherwise, the fat that has been released into the lymphatic system may redeposit in other areas rendering the treatments ineffective.

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is congested fat consisting of stubborn pockets of fat deposits characterized by a dimply," orange peel" appearance. Cellulite is accompanied by fluid retention making it very difficult to get rid of. Regular diet and exercise programs are often not enough to lodge these stubborn pockets.

Left untreated, cellulite can have several side effects including, swelling, a heaviness of the legs, varicose veins, numbness, muscle cramping, fatigue and poor circulation.

  • How long before results are visible?  Because the effects vary, it is difficult to determine individual results. The outcome depends on factors such as lifestyle, eating habits, the frequency of treatments and congestion.

  •  Will congestion come back?  The liver processes the fat mobilized from the treatments. The only way congestion will return is if the habits that caused it in the first place are continued.

  • How many treatments are needed? It is difficult to determine the number of treatments required because there are many individual variables: the severity of the deposit, age, estrogen levels, stress level, lifestyle, diet history, liver and bowel function, body type, circulation, exercise routine and of course weight.

  • Is the Treatment painful? Discomfort during the treatments depends on the congestion. Nerve endings are trapped due to the pressure of the cellulite, and as the congestion decreases naturally so does the discomfort and depends on the technician doing the treatment.  Rev.
